YOUR NEW ROLE
Your new role, as Social Care Worker, will involve a broad of duties
and responsibilities including supporting residents in their home
life, day to day activities and social interaction. Some of the
residents live in their own apartments, where you will assist in
providing full one-to-one support in their daily needs. You will act
as an advocate for each individual, working towards their personal
goals, set out in their individualised plan.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
In order to succeed in your new role, you will hold a Level 7/8
qualification in a relevant Social Care discipline. You will have
recent Social Care experience, preferably within? the intellectual
disability industry. In addition to this, you will be available to
work flexible hours, and have a full clean drivers licence.
WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
You will receive a competitive base salary per year, with the
potential to earn more on weekend and sleep-over rates, that are paid
at time and a half. You will also be supported in education should you
wish to progress and develop yourself in this area.
You will gain valuable and transferable experience from a national
organisation, who value and encourage individuality. If successful in
your application, you will be offered a permanent contract, and an
opportunity to work various shift patterns. In addition to this, you
will work alongside an established team of Social Care Workers and
Volunteers and receive excellent support from all members of staff.
